Sunset Heights, a distinct community within the Greater Heights area of Houston, is a neighborhood more than 100 years old.  It's characterized by original bungalow and Craftsman style homes and a variety of new construction.  Home to approximately 1,850 people, Sunset Heights is an unrestricted neighborhood where business and residential properties are interspersed.  Learn more about the history of Sunset Heights.

Like most of the Greater Heights, Sunset Heights has seen a consistent increase in home prices in recent years.  Currently, the median list price for properties in Sunset Heights if $510,000 with available properties ranging from $225,000 to $1.2 million.  Rents also vary depending upon size and quality of the home.  Right now you can find a rental property in Sunset Heights for anywhere between $1,300 to $4,000.
